Your rights
Customers can request access to, correction of or deletion of their personal data at any time. You can also ask us to restrict processing, object to processing, or receive a copy of your data in a portable format. We will respond within the timescales set by UK GDPR.
To exercise any right, email info@garagecallai.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
AI call recordings
Where call recording is enabled for your garage, recordings and their transcripts are used only for the business purposes agreed with you — for example, quality assurance, training the AI receptionist to reflect your services and resolving customer queries. Recordings are stored securely, access is restricted to authorised staff, and retention is limited to what is necessary for those agreed purposes.
Callers are informed that calls may be recorded in line with UK regulatory expectations. Recordings are never sold, shared for marketing or used outside the agreed purposes.
Data processing responsibilities
Where we handle personal information on behalf of your business (for example, callers to your garage), GarageCall AI acts as a data processor and you act as the data controller. We are happy to enter into a written data processing agreement on request. For information we collect for our own purposes (such as your account details), GarageCall AI is the data controller.
